Re-Election Announcement

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m running for re-election to the District 65 Board of Education.

My campaign is for a full 4-year term, as I was appointed in February to fill a vacant seat that had only 1 year remaining.

If you’d like to donate to kickstart my campaign, please click here.

I’m running again because we’re gaining real momentum toward a sustainable school district. I’d like to finish the work we’ve started.

Success will depend on our ability to mobilize as a community.  We must come together around a shared vision of what education should look like in Evanston/Skokie, including modern, vibrant schools.

Since joining the board in February and then assuming the vice presidency in May, I’ve developed a clear idea of how to activate that vision.  I’ve consumed financial reports and facilities audits, toured our schools, consulted with outside experts, analyzed enrollment data, and connected with educators and local officials.

I’ve also focused on modeling the kind of respectful dialogue we need to move forward.  We’re a passionate, talented, diverse group of citizens, which means we often have real, substantive policy differences.

But I’m convinced that with common purpose we can elevate District 65.  We can rise to the level of our community's expectations while preparing every student with a solid foundation.

Thank you in advance for your partnership.  Please complete this form if you’d like to volunteer for the campaign or stay in touch as I update my platform.

With Gratitude,

Chris
